Why Ethernet Data Cabling?

In simple terms, a data cable sends and receives data and they come in many forms. For the purpose of establishing a strong and secure internet connection between a device and a router, we use Cat5, Cat6 & Cat7 data cables. The difference between these cables is the amount of bandwidth each one can transmit per second. For example:

– Cat5 cable bandwidth is 100mb/s. To make a backup of 10GB while connected through a Cat5 cable would mean it would take 800 seconds to complete.

– Cat6 cable bandwidth is 1000mb/s. To make a backup of 10GB while connected through a Cat6 cable would take 80 seconds to complete.

Is Ethernet Data Cable Better Than WiFi?

There is no doubt that WiFi is very convenient, given that you do not need a cable plugged in all the time.
